Ruth Leong

Ruth Victoria Leong is an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. She spent four years in the United Kingdom where she completed her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, London. She practised as a commercial and civil litigation lawyer in a local law firm. Her areas of practice also included family and matrimonial law, real estate and conveyancing, trusts and probate law, employment law and commercial law.

She is currently a law lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic’s School of Business where she finds joy in interacting with her students. Ruth is keenly interested in their character development and continues to educate, encourage and motivate them to be the best they can be. She hopes to make a positive contribution to women by inspiring and empowering them.

She is also serving her second term as the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisation Research & Advocacy Committee Member 2016-2018.

In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling especially on mission trips, photography and singing, where she previously performed as a lead cast in a musical.
