Nadia A. Samdin

Corporate Transactional Lawyer
TSMP Law Corporation

Nadia A. Samdin is a young Singaporean who believes that one should “Start where you are, Use what you have, Do what you can”. As a corporate transactional lawyer, you can find Nadia working with her 110%, a curious mind, and a cup of coffee in hand. Her specialization is in mergers and acquisitions, but you could say that her real specialty is in getting to know her clients and their business, as she adopts a personal approach to building relationships in the course of her work. She works with a spectrum of clients including mainboard listed public companies, start-ups, and foreign entities. Previously, she was a current affairs producer in Channel NewsAsia (Mediacorp), exploring stories of fellow Singaporeans and giving a voice to hot topics of the day.

Passionate about youth development and civic engagement, Nadia enjoys both the strategic and hands-on elements of service. Some of the appointments she holds include: Council Member – National Youth Council, where she helped steer Shine Festival 2016, and Council Member – Lembaga Biasiswa Kenangan Maulud (a registered IPC), where she co-initiated and heads youth programs. She is also currently the youngest district councillor at South East Community Development Council, where she first started off as a volunteer in 2005.

Nadia has years of emceeing and moderating under her belt, including platforms such as the Youth Olympic Games, Singapore International Energy Week and Baybeats Music Festival. Part of her heart is in the ocean as a diver, and another part in the hills of Northern Thailand where she works with indigenous rights organisations to run Homes in the Hills – a project supporting women empowerment, cultural preservation and youth education causes in village community schools.
