Ruth Leong is an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. She spent four years in the United Kingdom where she completed her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, London. She practised as a commercial and civil litigation lawyer in Singapore. Her areas of practice included family and matrimonial law, real estate and conveyancing, trusts and probate law, employment law and commercial law.
Formerly a law lecturer at the School of Business, Temasek Polytechnic where she lectured in various law subjects and she interacted with both her full-time and part-time students. She was involved in their character development and she educated, encouraged and motivated them to be the best they can be.
She is currently the Regional ASPAC Legal Counsel with bioMerieux, a French MNC in biotechnology. Ruth hopes to make a positive contribution to women by inspiring and empowering them.
She is also served as the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisation Research & Advocacy Committee Member 2014-2018.
In her leisure time, she enjoys travelling on mission trips, dragon boating and music.
