Wong Jia Yun is a business development professional at Visa, managing multi-regional client accounts. She is also leading Inclusion & Diversity efforts for her team at Visa. Prior to this, she had been in product management and strategy; and worked at a fintech as well as the Singapore Economic Development Board. She spent her early career in Germany and the United Kingdom within the energy sector.

She has been an active member of Young Women’s Leadership Connection (YWLC) since 2014. As the Chairperson, Jia Yun oversaw people development, community and corporate partnerships, member engagement and key digital transformation efforts. Specifically, her key contributions include overseeing the deepening and expanding of corporate partner and beneficiary impact, digitization and thought leadership approach, tackling diversity and inclusion within the YWLC community, and people development and succession planning. As Advisor, she led the launch of the YWLC Alumni Programme in April 2022. The programme focuses on re-engaging previously active YWLC leaders. By bridging the gap between YWLC’s core member segment and the next stage of senior women in leadership, Jia Yun hopes to drive community impact with an experienced pool of YWLC champions.

Jia Yun is currently a board member of Singapore Council of Women’s Organizations (SCWO) and brings her experience in non-profit digital transformation and member engagement, thought leadership, as well as corporate partnerships.
